Additional Production Line
The additional new production line at PDS is up and running! We finished the line commissioning and tested all manufacturing parameters. The new production line is now for mass production use since February 2021.
Expansion Update ~ Heller Reflow Oven
Besides the additional pick and place machines that we installed (up and running now), we are delighted to announce the arrival of another lead free reflow oven from Heller. It can increase greatly our capacity and output. The machine is under calibration and setup.
Smart Walking Cane - STICKU
We love to manufacture products to support the well-being of the senior citizens.
STICKU is one of the fabulous products that we manufactured. The designer idea is to lower the resistance of the elderly to digital products and thus reducing the safety risk. The product copes with loads of useful functions including Bluetooth connection, emergency call, anti-loss alert, fall down detection, smart light and warm. It can greatly help the senior citizens.

The TV program named 看出個未來 talks about how the future of various industries will be. Customization is the key message of this episode.
Customization meaning in the dictionary is the action of making or changing something according to the buyer’s or user’s need. Customization and Mass Customization are the future in many industries, electronic industry is no exception.
PDS is a good platform for our customers to cope with customization or mass customization. There is no “standard” products in PDS. Every product we made is unique and customized.

Die Size Ball Grid Array
Electronic design is so amazing!
Do you see 3 Die Size Ball Grid Array and 2 Capacitor on this PCBA?
They are the newly developed DSBGA by Texas Instrument.
PDS is managed to tackle the assembly on this type of flexible print, but it indeed requires some skill.
Currently we are supporting more than 10 models to our customer.
Internship Scheme
One of PDS’s commitment is to contribute in the Hong Kong Electronic Market. Apart from contributing monetarily, we also provide a platform for the young generation to work in the electronic industry. PDS joins the Internship scheme held by The Vocational Training Council (VTC). A balanced mix of theory and practice offer recognized qualifications to meet industry needs.
We believe our little contribution will help to make a difference.
Expansion is in progress
In order to accommodate the emerging demand and businesses, we have decided to expand our factory in Hong Kong. We occupied the area next door to combine the manufacturing area. Investment had been made on factory space, machines and infrastructure.
During expansion, PDS remains normal operation without influence.
